Sure Catch Bait Works / Strike Master Bait Company

A.T. Death began making baits in Union City Indiana under the name Sure Catch Bait Works. He relocated to Versailles, Ohio in 1928, where he raised capital and started a manufacturing operation. The name of the company changed to Strike Master Tackle Co. in 1930.

The early Sure Catch Baits show were provided by Mike Hines. These lures came out of Union City, Indiana.

Early bug, with lip inserted into cut in belly, tack eyes.
