Alliance Ohio Baits

This page is dedicated to baits made in Alliance, Ohio. Known makers are Charlie Woolslair, Raymond Mennert,  Ray Clippinger.  They worked at the Alliance Machine Co.  They worked together so more than one maker maybe involved in each lure. Louis Axe made lures also in Alliance Ohio but his connection with the Alliance Machine Co is not clear.

I have grouped lures as I aquired them to help with future indentification.

Used for painting scales on lure. The hinges allow the frame to fold over the lure to spray paint scales on each side of the lure.
